Saying Goodbye to Czech… for now
The time has come. On Tuesday (tomorrow) I’ll be traveling back to Florida and stay there until graduation. I’m not going to lie… I’m really going to miss Czech. It’s home, you know?
Just imagine driving in the countryside and slowly seeing the leaves turn different colors. Or strolling down the street and looking up at the ostentatiously bohemian buildings. And being in the city and a five-minute drive later, you find yourself near a field with horses and two minutes later you see a sunflower field. I have to say, Florida doesn’t have any Bohemian buildings, but it does have the beach. So, as a little goodbye, I took my car, Clementine, out for a spin and drove in the countryside a little and then went to Teplice while blasting ‘Wannabe’ by the Spice Girls. I’m seriously not kidding, that song is catchy, so ‘I’ll tell you what I want, what I really, really want’… for you to listen to that song. Anyway, I’m going to miss it Czech, and online learning, too. I don’t know why, but I love online learning. Wait LOL yes I do, it’s because I can go at my own pace. I think it’ll be strange to be back in school physically because I haven’t been since March. But it’ll also be good because I have so many outfits. There’s honestly something truly satisfying about looking nice and putting in an effort.
Speaking of outfits, I have one from yesterday. It’s adorable, so brace yourselves. I’m wearing a Hollister sweater with a Free People long sleeve shirt underneath because I obviously didn’t want to freeze. My pants are from Max Mara and they’re corduroy. I bought these over the summer in Germany and I didn’t wear them at all. But one freezing fall day, I decided to wear them and now I can’t stop. And lastly a fall-must: Doc Martens. All in all, I felt cozy, confident, and comfortable in this outfit, so that’s all that matters.
Xoxo,
Lina
