Outfit of the week
Honestly, shopping with me is like a curse. I swear to you that when I’m shopping in a store or even shopping online that I take years to decide if I want to buy something. Take this: I just discovered the cutest vintage store called Na Nin, where I found these fantastic trousers and an eggshell silk blouse. But then I looked at the prices, and I was like, “Dawg, you need to stop online shopping, work canceled, you’re broke.” So, I then searched and searched and contemplated and contemplated until I found that H&M has the same trousers that I wanted but for literally $30 instead of $200. So after sitting at my computer for days thinking if I should buy these super adorable trousers (because let’s face it, I have nothing better to do during this quarantine), I found the same pair at H&M. But, you see it gets even better. At 12:40 am on April first, I decided not to buy these beautiful trousers or the eggshell silk blouse because I realized that I have an awesome blouse in my closet already. I probably have some trousers in there, and I don’t want to pay for something that I already have. And that’s on boredom and online shopping, I guess.
But anyway… I want to introduce this week’s Outfit of the Week even though it’s Wednesday and not Sunday (I can’t keep track of the days anymore honestly). Since we’re all stuck at home, I decided to share a great workout ‘fit. I bought the leggings recently at Lululemon since loungewear is the new black (I’m not sure if that works, but I’m rolling with it), and I bought the shirt a few months back from Gymshark. I cannot express how much I am in love with baby blue so of course when I saw baby blue leggings, I had to snatch immediately. As for Gymshark… I. Am. Obsessed. Anything Gymshark is terrific. The long sleeve crop top is a ‘must have’ for working out. It’s breathable but also tight enough, so you don’t even need a bra to wear under it, which is always a plus.
I hope you’re staying happy, healthy, and washing your hands!
Xoxo
