Outfit of the month: August
Hey guys!
So it’s been a little bit since my last post but I’ve actually been taking a writing class at the University of Chicago, and let me tell you, it’s been a challenge. Like ok, I thought that I was a pretty decent writer, but turns out, I know nothing. In class, we read some amazing texts like the Bhagavad Gita, Four Quartets, and If They Come in the Morning. So, I’ve learned a lot of new writing techniques as well as new ideas.
But now moving on to some fun outfits. I’ve done quite a bit of shopping at my absolutely favorite store, Djerf Avenue. They launched their new collection in May and before I could snatch the new Summer Pants, they were all sold out. But never fear, I bought their mini skirt in Sky Blue as well as their Sand Blazer. And let me tell you my friends, I wear the blazer with everything. And when I say everything I mean, skirts, pants, jeans. You could honestly pair it with a pair of white sweatpants if you wanted. I might try that next time.
I’m currently in the Czech Republic, and these pictures were taken on the ever-famous Charles Bridge. I’m wearing the Djerf Avenue Mini Skirt in Sky Blue along with the Sand Blazer. I paired it with my air forces that I decorated and a cute shoulder purse with some swaggy sunglasses. Another look that I love with mini skirts is a way oversized jacket and high tops or even Doc Martens. I 100% recommend this look.
