Birthday vibes!
I turned 18 this August, and it feels incredible!
I had the best birthday ever. My entire family gathered at my house, and we celebrated and celebrated. The theme was ‘lavender’ which isn’t very extravagant, but everything was lavender. My entire outfit, balloons, the cake, literally everything was lavender, so I guess it was extravagant… for me. Ok, I’m not sure if you can tell, but lavender is clearly my favorite color. I’ll show you the outfit below because it’s soo adorable. Both the top and the pants are from the Djerf Avenue summer collection, but even though the outfit gives off very “summery” vibes, I’ll be wearing it (the pants at least- I don’t need my back to freeze) through the fall.
I’m not a huge fan of cake (only cookie cake) because I don’t like the sponge (I think that’s what you call the bread part of the cake?), only frosting. But, the cupcakes/muffins were absolutely adorable because the cream was all lavender. I hope I’m not the only one who loves cupcakes and muffins but doesn’t like cake. I think I like those better because they’re not too overwhelming to eat? I don’t know. Strange.
Anyway, I think it’s crazy that I’m 18, and I think I’m ready to stop aging. I’m happy with the big 1 8. Anyone else feels like that?
